Gröna Lund

International class amusement park. Entertainment provided by famous artistes. Open May – mid-September. Djurgården.

 

 

Gröna Lund isn’t just fairground rides, there’s also all kinds of exciting entertainment.


Skansen

Open-air museum, the biggest place to visit in Stockholm since 1891. Cultural history buildings, Scandinavian animals such as elks, wolves and bears, exotic snakes and monkeys, Lill-Skansen with animals to pet. Djurgården.

 

 

At Lill-Skansen children can get close up to the animals.


Junibacken

Junibacken. A trip into the story world of Astrid Lindgren: Madicken, Pippi, Emil, the Brothers Lionheart, Ronia the Robber’s Daughter and all the other favourites. Temporary exhibitions and fun playgrounds. Djurgården.

 

 

At Junibacken the children can ride on Pippi Longstocking’s Horse.


National Museum of Science and Technology

See great-grandad's car and do your own experiments. A creative workshop where children are able to create their own music on a computer. Museivägen 7.

 

 

At the Robot exhibition at the National Museum of Science and Technology you are greeted by the Priscilla the “humanoid”.


Swedish Museum of Natural History/Cosmonova

At the Swedish Museum of Natural History both children and adults can discover the fascinating world of the natural sciences, stimulating all their senses. Cosmonova has the Planetarium and IMAX theatre, with large format films.

 

 

You can make your own clouds at the large climate exhibition at the Swedish Museum of Natural History.  


The Music Museum is a fun play-and-learn museum.
