Disneyland Paris (Eurodisney)

In actual fact, not one but five theme parks in one: Main Street USA, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Adventureland and Discoveryland. It takes a good half hour to get here by train (RER, A) from Etoile, Auber or Gare de Lyon, for example. Open all year round.

Parc Asterix

Loads of adventure and other thrilling rides and attractions, all centred round the theme of Asterix, Obelisk and the other Gauls in their fight against the Romans. Take the fast RER B train from Chatelet des-Halles or Gare du Nord to Charles de Gaulle airport and then hop on a bus from there.

La Vilette, vast fun museum all about science and technology.

Fun museums

La Villette. Technology museum where you can perform your own experiments. Light and sound shows, flight simulator and a separate department for the really little ones.
Métro: Porte de la Villette.

 

Musée Grevin. Wax works with 300 kings, emperors, politicians and celebrities past and present.

At Sealife you will encounter fish from all over the world.

Animals in Paris

Aquarium Sealife. Large aquarium with beautiful fish of all colours. Close to Disneyland Paris. Take the fast RER A train to Val d´Europé and then head towards Centre Commercial.

 

Safari. If you hire a car, you can go on a safari in the African savannah at the Parc zoologique de Thoiry.

 

Zoo. Paris’ major animal park is in Bois de Vincennes.

La Ferme de Paris. Here children can come face to face with the animals. Bois de Vincennes.

From the Montparnasse tower, you can see the whole of Paris.

Best views of the city

Tour Eiffel. On a clear day, they say you can see for 70 km from the Eiffel tower’s viewing platform, 274 metres above the ground. Metro: Bir Hakeim.

 

Tour Montparnasse. The Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame. See it all in one glance from the vantage point on the 59th storey of Tour Montparnasse. Metro: Montparnasse-Bienvenüe.

Jardin d´Acclimatation. Minizoo, fairground and play area in one at Bois de Boulogne. Métro: Les Sablons.

 

Aquaboulevard. Huge water park with lots of water adventures. Metro: Balard.
