Nice is the “grand old lady” of the Mediterranean – and she’s still a lady with style. The city on the Bay of Angels is certainly considerably larger than when royals, authors, artists and Europe’s wealthy started coming here in the 19th century, but “elderly” – definitely not. Inliners, music from all the cars, the clubbers’ swarming scooters, the school children that rush to the beach after their last class – all this helps to keep Nice constantly youthful.
