Sport in Malmö

Malmö FF's men's and women's teams are among the best in Sweden. The men, who've played in the top division for 70 seasons, have won 18 of them. The home ground of the men's team is Malmö Stadium, and the women's team plays at Malmö Idrottsplats.

Known as "Ribban" in everyday speech, and popular for jogging, aerobics, beach volleyball, inline skating, etc.

 

 

 

At Ribergsborg, there's also a public baths open all year round and a fine beach.

Broloppet. A half-marathon held in June every year between Denmark and Sweden, over the Öresund bridge.
Bryggeriet. The biggest skateboarding hall in Europe. Lantmannagatan 59.
Cycling. Hire a bike and make your way around Malmö even faster and more easily. Talk to - for example - Malmö Rent-a-bike, Tourist Office, Central Station.
Canoes and kayaks. An exciting way to explore Malmö. Can be hired through Malmö Kanotklubb.
Kockum Fritid. Swimming pool, bowling alley, table tennis, weight training, squash, firing range and solarium. Western harbour.
