Impressive Westminster Bridge links these five sights, which are a convenient walking distance from one another.
London Eye. Huge Ferris wheel built to mark the new millennium, views across 55 (!) of London’s sights.
London Aquarium. One of Europe’s largest aquariums. See Cool stuff for kids in London.
Westminster Abbey. A magnificent cathedral where all kings and queens since William the Conqueror have been crowned. Famous people such as Charles Dickens, David Livingstone and Rudyard Kipling are buried here.
Houses of Parliament. During the summer months you can go on a guided tour down the corridors of power.
Big Ben. Possibly the most famous clock in the world. You can get the best view of it, and to photograph it, from Westminster Bridge.

Madame Tussaud’s Waxworks. In this world famous waxworks you can now also find an interactive department where you yourself can try out the life of the rich and famous, with paparazzi, interviews, and much more. Tower of London. This mighty fortress has, over the years, served as a palace, prison, arsenal and zoo. Now home to the amazing crown jewels. Greenwich. Greenwich is not just home to the meridian line, but also the National Maritime Museum, the Cutty Sark, the beautiful Greenwich Park and more besides.

London has museums for everyone, containing everything. Here, you will find vast museums such as the British Museum, Victoria and Albert and Natural History Museum which can take several days to look around. And you will also find smaller and less well known museums such as Dali Universe and the Florence Nightingale Museum. Galleries and museums of art
London is home to art museums and galleries for all tastes. At the National Portrait Gallery you will find almost all the famous Britons over the years portrayed on canvas or on camera. At the Tate Modern, you will find an impressive collection of modern art with everything from giants such as Picasso and Matisse to less well known artists of today. The Saatchi Gallery, the Royal Academy of Arts and the Design Museum are examples of other galleries and museums worth seeing, but the list goes on and on.

London is home to many lovely parks and green spaces. The best known of these is Hyde Park with its Serpentine lake - where you can swim or row- cycle lanes, bridleways and footpaths.
Other famous beautiful parks include Kew Gardens, Regent's Park and Green Park.
