The main shopping streets are Mannerheimvägen, Alexandersgatan and the Esplanaden avenues. If it’s small shops you are after, for a chance to dress with a more individual touch, try Fredriksgatan and Högbergsgatan. For great interior design shops, go to Rödbergen and Kampen. Finnish design is available in many specialist shops along the Esplanaden avenues and at, for example, Design Forum by Skillnaden and the museum shops at the Design Museum and Kiasma (Helsinki’s modern museum). The antique shops can be found close together in the city quarters of Kronohagen and Ulrikasborg.
