Nightlife in Barcelona

The question is whether you can still eat dinner after all the god taps available at Ciudad Condal.

Tapas bars

If you venture into a bar in Barcelona you will very soon learn what "tapas" means. Small, delicious snacks of all kinds which often cover virtually the entire bar counter. Everything from olives and small pieces of bread with pesto or sheep’s cheese to small battered fish or pigs’ ears.

Ciudad Condal. Classic tapas. Rambla de Catalunya 18.

Cal Pep. Highly popular tapas bar. Plaça de les Olles 8.

El Vaso de Oro. A little more sophisticated. Balboa 6.

El Xampanyet, classic cava and tapas bar

Wine and cava bars

Cava is another word you will soon get to know – it is Spanish for sparkling wine, which is drunk in large quantities here, like beer, wine and other drinks.
